We have done work for a number of Target and Starbucks stores over the years, but this was the largest combined project. In addition to completely remodeling the Starbucks space, Target added an aisle of frozen food cases requiring a large number of under-floor drains. They also added a refrigerated room near the relocated curbside pickup area for grocery pickup.
Target also updated a number of other areas such as the front restroom, the employee restroom, and the break room with kitchenette.
Faust Company is proud to say we saved Target a sizable chunk of money on this project. The out of town engineer who drew up the plans included an oversized grease trap installed in the parking lot to serve the new Starbucks. We were able to convince everyone involved that we didn’t need a larger grease trap than was previously installed to serve the old Starbucks AND the Pizza hut kiosk we removed. We’re always happy when we can value engineer a job and save our customers not just money, but the inconvenience of having their parking lot shut down for construction.
